The aspirants must apply online through the official website of UPSC: https://www.upsc.gov.in/ The application fees is 200 rupees, although, Women, SC, ST, PwD and Exservicemen are exempted from fee payment.

Combined Medical Services Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications for Combined Medical Services
For admission to the exam, a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.
A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final MBBS exam may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the exam, if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the written and practical part of the final MBBS Exam along with the detailed application which will be required to be submitted to the Commission by the candidates who qualify on the result of the Computer-based exam.
A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection, he/she will be appointed only after he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship.

Nationality Criteria
The candidate must be the citizen of India.
Or a subject of Nepal.
A subject of Bhutan.
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India..

  • There will be penalty (Negative Making) for wrong answers marked by a candidates in the objective type question papers.
  • There are four alternatives for the answers to every question.
