SSC MTS Exam Notification - 2020


SSC MTS exam is a national level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates in Group ā€˜Cā€™ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States/ Union Territories. The full form of SSC MTS is Multitasking Staff.

The aspirants must apply online through the official website of SSC: https://ssc.nic.in/ The application fees is 100 rupees, although, Women, SC, ST, PwD and Exservicemen are exempted from fee payment.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria

For various SSC MTS posts, the candidates must be 18 years old or above but not greater than 32 years old.

Educational Qualifications for SSC MTS
The qualification to take MTS examination is Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board or institute.

The minimum age is 18 years old and maximum age is 27 years old.

Up to 40 years of age Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on a closing date for receipt of online application
Up to 45 years of age Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on a closing date for receipt of online application (SC/ST)
Up to 35 years of age Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not married
Up to 40 years of age Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not married (SC/ST)
Up to 45 years of age Service Clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed Forces
Up to 50 years of age Service Clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed Forces (SC/ST)
3 years plus the length of service rendered by them in connection with census and weightage of past service Retrenched census employees of the office of Registrar General of India
Physical Fitness Requirements
No specific physical standard is required for SSC MTS examination.
Nationality Criteria
The candidate must be the citizen of India.
Or a subject of Nepal.
A subject of Bhutan.
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India..
