RRB NTPC Exam Notification - 2020


RRB NTPC Exam is conducted by The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for the recruitment of candidates in group C posts in various departments in Indian Railway. The full form of RRB NTPC is Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC).

RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Date

The tetative date of the RRB NTPC Tire 1 exam is announced by the RRB on December 15,2020.

The aspirants must apply online through the official website of RRB: http://www.rrbbpl.nic.in/ he application fees for general candidate is rupees 500. And for SC/ST/OBC/Females/Ex-Serviceman/Transgender/Minorities is rupees 250.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria

For various RRB NTPC posts, the candidates must be 18 years old or above but not greater than 30 years old.

Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk 12th (+2 Stage) or it’s equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability / Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualification higher than 12th (+2 stage)
Accounts Clerk Cum Typist 12th (+2 Stage) or it’s equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability / Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage). Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on the computer is essential.

Commercial Apprentice, Enquiry – cum – Reservation Clerk, Junior Accounts Assistant; cum – Typist, Senior Clerk – cum Typist, Sr. Time Keeper Physically fit in all respects Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 without glasses. The candidate should clear a test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, and Field of Vision & Night Vision.

Nationality Criteria
The candidate must be the citizen of India.
Or a subject of Nepal.
A subject of Bhutan.
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India..

RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test (TST)
Qualifying in nature.
Eight times the number of vacancies will be called for typing test.
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
